Mary Kay "voxbox" From Influenster.com!

So this month I received a Mary Kay "voxbox" from Influenster for me to review.filled with $80 worth of full-sized products! I am super excited because this is products I have never used before.

The box came with four products and a brush. A lengthening mascara, lash primer, cream shadow, lipstick, and brush to apply the cream shadow were included. As a makeup addict, I was completely excited to see so many products! I really do love trying out new products.

The Mary Kay voxbox included a lipstick called Rose Cherie. A very universal color great for many skin tones. The packaging is silver and is pretty sleek. The lipstick pops out of the tube to reveal the color. I like the packaging is very sleek looking.

The lipstick is a more sheer coverage, similar to a Revlon Lip butter. I love the Lipstick and have been using it every day since I have received it.  It was fairly hydrating, but the staying power could have been better. I would definitely repurchase this product when it runs out and would also like to try other colors.

It applied very smooth and evenly. It wasn't sticky, thick, or gross like other "cream" eye colors I've tried before. It didn't crease at the end of the day. I Would compare this to MAC Paint Pots. Applying this product first  then applying a regular eyeshadow on top makes other shadow looks last longer(Works Like Eye Primer).

       Full sized cream eye color applicator brush. Although the brush is great for applying concealer.  I just found it much easier to use my fingers when applying the cream eye shadow. However its a great brush if you don't own this type of brush or just getting into makeup.

The Lash Primer is a moisturizing pre-mascara formula. It applied smooth and clear. And when I applied the mascara, the primer helped it stay on smooth and pretty all day! I would defiantly repurchase this when it runs out.

This mascara complimented the lash primer nicely. Went on easy and stayed on all day. I would definitely say this is a lengthening mascara. No overpowering weird smells like some mascaras have.

A Fun Easy Enjoyable Read! 

You will not be disappointed in this father and daughter duo book. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was delightful and surprising to learn that this was the author's first book. I will definitely read the next book by this author!

Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012!

After much anticipation, I received my Holiday 2012 VoxBox from Influenster!

Influenster is a site I discovered a few months ago that sends out products in what they call VoxBoxes to members who are active on social media.  Basically, they send you themed products free of charge in exchange for you promoting the brands via blogging, vlogging, tweeting, etc.

New York Color Liquid Lip Shine $2.49 

  ( VERY INEXPENSIVE) - I really like this lip gloss!  The shade is "Nude York City," and it's perfect shade for anyone! It also smells delicious, like a cupcake or cookies or something.  It goes on smoothly and doesn't feel sticky; I hate how some glosses just "sit" on my lips and feel too thick.  This one doesn't feel that way at all. 

 FINAL REVIEW: LOVING IT SO MUCH THAT I HAVENT STOP USING SINCE IT CAME IN THE MAIL. I WOULD REPURCHASE IT OVER & OVER AGAIN!

Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeal $1.79

 

 It’s a single serving size in a cute little cup-perfect to take on the run! They Recommend you Microwave the cup for 45 seconds however I dont do that. I love to Make my Quaker Oat Meal with my Keurig Coffee Maker!!!!  Very Fast & easy way to make and enjoy a heathy Breakfast on the go.. Be sure to use the smallest cup size on the Keurig settings as to get the exact amount it requires to fill the oat meal cup.

FINAL REVIEW:

I’ve been seeing different flavors that others got in their VoxBox, so I’m excited to try those!    

I absolutely love it! There’s not much to say besides that. It was creamy, delicious, and had just the right amount of fruit in it!

Each kit comes with 28 nail stickers in varying sizes (so you can match them up to your finger nails perfectly).  It also comes with an instructional booklet with other nail art ideas, and a nail buffer to help smooth and shape your nail sticker to the perfect contour of your regular nails. The kits are sleek and I love how the front of the packaging really allows you to see what nail designs you’re looking at!

 I was quite surprised when I first tried out these nail stickers.  I was expecting them to be thin and foil-like (similar to the Sally Hansen polish strips), but they weren’t at all. They are actually pretty thick and plastic-y, especially ones with more intricate designs and jewels. They work in a similar way to the polish strips, you place the sticker on your finger (making sure to choose a size that will wrap to each sides of your nail),  smooth it out, fold the end over and then use a nail buffer to basically “cut” the excess off.

 FINAL REVIEW: I would repurchase this again as they are very affordable. I had several people ask me who did my nails.

EBOOST- Retails for $28.00 for box of 20 

EBOOST $28.00- What is EBOOST according to the website  it is a boost that does more.  It’s a mood boost, focus boost, natural boost, a no-crash boost that also supports the normal function of the immune system. 

FINAL REVIEW:

“I tried Stevia and I don't like it” If you don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners, you won't like EBOOST. This prouduct has a strong aftertaste that sticks around for a long while like most things that have FAKE SUGAR SWEETENERS OR AS SOME CALL IT "NATURAL FLAVOR".  I Definitely would not recommend this product.

Goody QuikStyle Brush Paddle brush $11.99

  

I was very excited about this brush as I have never seen anything like it before. It has microfiber bristles, which are supposed to be absorbent and help remove water (30%) while you style. Basically helping it go from wet to dry faster. With my Long Thick Hair I was worried this would not work for me but was very surprised by my results, Im so glad that it came in the box, because I probably wouldn’t have picked it up on my own. It retails for around $11.99

FINAL REVIEW:

This for sure takes the excess water out of your hair and cut down drying time a ton by half. Definitely worth the money.

They only down side to these Cloches are normally priced between $39-$50 EACH!!  However Pottery Barn had a HUGE Clearance sale on the tall Cloche for as little as $29.99. Well I recently got the chance to try Crest 3D White Professional Effects White strips thanks to Influenster. I have to admit I was super excited for the chance to try a new product and couldn’t wait to test it out!

MY FIRST DAY/APLICATION:

I put the strips on and the application was very easy. Take of the plastic strip and just put them on your teeth. You can easily talk with them on and they do not easily fall off or move around on your teeth. After taking them off you could already see some improvement with only one 30 minute treatment. My family  said that she could see a difference already. I did noticed I white spots on my teeth after using this product but after a few hours they went away.

What happened?

HAPPY END: 
I still have a few crest strips to go but I now smile like 200% more often, because i am so proud about my white teeth.

So do I recommend Crest White Strips? Yes I do. I actually would recommend you to try the 20 professional white #4 or #5 program especially if you have the extra money to shell out. :)

So since then, I have just been more confident. And I actually started loving red lipsticks again. I mentioned this in my other blog post, I used to not wear red lipstick because I felt that it shows my yellowish teeth. So now, I feel like I can wear anything and pull it off! :) Yey for a brighter smile!!! :)
